So, especially after my sinful performance yesterday, it’s easy to get distracted and not notice any spiritual gains. However, since I began the program, I can confidently say that I am slightly more flexible – especially in my hamstrings. I also recover a LOT faster from pins and needles/dead leg after meditating for a while. Lastly, I’m also sitting for longer than usual :-).
Despite all this, today I was kind of busy/lazy so I did slightly less than normal (around 2.5 hours). The standing practice was significantly easier today in the morning than it was last night. I actually managed to stand up for the whole duration without any problems.
I’m feeling some hip issues though which is concerning. I am thinking of maybe splitting up my practice session into 2-3 equal parts throughout the day to prevent over stressing anything. I simply cannot afford any sort of injury.
That being said, I need to do qi compressions a lot more slowly.
Today I did #1, #2, #3 (8 minutes), #6 (100 minutes), #8, #10 (4 reps).
